The Alpha is an affordable dome tent that is easy to pitch. It has a stylish, practical Gothic pole arch in front and crystal clear windows to brighten the spacious tent interior. The stable structure offers generous headroom. The tent is made of waterproof and flame-retardant quality material. This well ventilated tent is ideal for outdoor adventurers, cyclists and small groups who need a small pack size to facilitate transportation.
The Vango PVC window film, provides a clear view outside and lets plenty of light into the inside of the tent. The window film becomes wrinkle-free as soon as it gets some heat.
EN5912 is the product standard for the safety of camping tents. Among other things, it includes a test procedure for fabrics with flame protection and a rain test to check the tightness of the tent.
This shape of the pointed arches has the advantage that more space is created in the inner tent and the water/snow runs off faster on the outside and no water sacks can form on the tent. Together with the TBS system, the slightly more pointed arch forms a very stable construction.
The inner tent is set up first with this method, then the outer tent is placed above it. Advantages here are that the tents can be adapted to the climatic conditions and only the airy inner tent can be used.
fiberglass is used for many tent constructions because it is very flexible but still stable. Fibreglass rods are drilled through from top to bottom, cut into segments of equal length and fitted with a metal sleeve on one side. The individual segments are connected with a rubber band, which facilitates the assembly. In order to place the rods of different lengths in the correct position during assembly, the rods are marked in colour.
ProTex fabrics are tent fabrics specially developed for Vango in different qualities to meet the different requirements and applications.
