The multitude of compartments, and easy access to all of them make this a super user friendly bag. To begin with, the XPL has a front loader that runs the entire length of the front of the bag. In one move you have access to the entire contents of your bag. This is not only convenient, but it also looks pretty cool! When you open the front loader, you find a mesh compartment the size of the front of the bag. You also get access to both of the full length side compartments. All three are fitted with zippers. The rear of the bag has an elasticated top edge. The XPL comes with adjustable straps to hold all your gear in place, whether you are whizzing through Bangkok streets on a motorcycle, or if your backpack is tossed onto a baggage rack while inter-railing through Europe.
The exterior of the backpack features multiple compartments. So on top of the front loader is a handy compartment for quick storage. On the waistband there is a pocket for stuff you need easy access to, like your passport, mobile phone and money. There are zipped pockets on the inside and outside of the hood. Also worth noting, are the adjustable and very spacious side compartments.
The XPL backpack is very comfortable to wear. It has an adjustable back system, the Easy Adjust, that can be modified to match your back length. The adjustable waist and shoulder straps are lined with a thick layer of foam, which provides plenty of comfort and support. This foam layer also provides support for your lower back. The XPL also has a shoulder strap for additional support, and is horizontally and vertically adjustable.
When travelling long distances with your bag, it's is nice to have a water supply, and this backpack gives you a number of possibilities. The compartments on both sides give you plenty of space for water bottles. And should it rain while you're on the way from A to B, then protect your gear with the integrated rain cover. The XPL gives you the convenience of a suitcase and the sporty comfort of a backpack.
